Hello Readers,
It has been a few months since GOFY’s last blog. For many of you, the school year has just begun so as you are adjusting your class schedules and preparing to rack your brains, I want to wish you “Good Luck!”
The GOFY team has worked hard to accomplish our annual goals. We have participated in community outreach events at different locations and continue to engage with community members. Your feedback is very important to us and drives our programming improvements.
I also have a small announcement to make. Many of our volunteers and board members balance their professional and personal lives while making time for us, and thus far, they have been very successful. However, from September to December, the GOFY team will be awarded a much-deserving short break. We will ramp up again in January.
In the meantime, we will continue fund development efforts and plan for 2017. If you are an Amazon Prime member, please add GOFY as your charity organization for the AmazonSmile Foundation—a small portion of your purchase will be donated to us!
